Use & Care Instructions

• Hand-wash with hot, soapy water. Dry thoroughly.

• To keep board looking new and full of luster, do not soak or submerge in water.

• Not dishwasher safe.

• Store in a dry area away from extreme temperatures.

• Apply a new coat of wood butter monthly to keep wood from drying out and to keep colour vibrant.

• NOTE: do not use vegetable oil or olive oil because they can turn rancid whereas the wood butter remains safe throughout its life.

Sanitizing options

• Vinegar: Wash the board with a solution of one part vinegar to five parts water

• Lemon: Cut a lemon in half and rub over the surface to neutralize odour. 

• Baking Soda or Coarse Salt: To eliminate garlic, onion and fish smells rub coarse salt or baking soda on board. Let it stand for a few minutes & wipe and rinse.

Custom Orders

All my pieces are handmade (by me in my garage in Kitchener-Waterloo). I love custom orders. If you like one of my pieces but think a different wood type, shape or size would be better for you, contact me. I'll be happy to help.

I can accept cash for items that I deliver to you directly or email money transfers for items to be shipped.  PayPal is also an option so please contact me if this option works best for you. 

Shipping

Free delivery available locally. I am happy to arrange pick-up or delivery options. If you'd prefer to have a board shipped directly to you simply provide the shipping address along with SKU for the item you are interested in and I will contact you to provide complete details including shipping costs.
